What is Wing Foiling?
The Wing Foil It is a relatively recent water sport that evolved from windsurfing, kitesurfing, and foiling.
It is practiced on a board equipped with foils, using an inflatable sail (wing) held directly with the hands. The result is a unique sensation: rise up on the water and glide silently, driven only by the wind.
Thanks to the quality of the wind and the natural scenery, Lake Como is one of the best places for wing foiling.
How Wing Foil courses are conducted
Wing Foil courses in Cremia take place mainly in individual mode, to ensure maximum attention and personalized progression.
Upon request, it is also possible to participate in small groups of 2 or 3 people, formed according to level of experience.
Each course is structured to guide you step by step, from your first contact with the wind to the most advanced maneuvers.
Corso Base – Primo contatto con il Wing Foil
The basic course is designed for those who has never practiced Wing Foil or has no experience with foils.
In this phase, you will learn:
- the fundamental concepts of wind
- balance on the board
- sail management
- the first departures and destinations
The goal is to build a solid technical foundation and confidence with the equipment.
Intermediate Course – Flying over water
The intermediate course is designed for those who are already familiar with sailing and want to start foiling.
Here we work on:
- takeoff and control of the foil
- flight stability
- movement coordination
- speed management
